Raceway Park now closed

    The Texana Raceway Park, Gulf Coast’s premiere quarter-mile dirt track located two miles east of Edna, is officially closed. Due to low car counts and the fan base being off a little bit, owner Ken Bulsterbaum said he will no longer be able to keep the track open.
    “I would like to thank all of my workers and crews for the wonderful jobs that all of you did,” Bulsterbaum said on the Raceway Facebook page. “I couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you to the racers that supported me in this venue, each one of you played a part in the racing programs and entertaining the fans.”
