Non-jury hearing reset on murder suspect

District Judge Skipper Koetter ordered a reset for a non-jury hearing to Oct. 24 in the case of Roberto Garcia Perez Jr., 31, of Ganado who is being tried for the murder of Ganado’s Fred Anzaldua.
“An order of reset is just a setting letter for a future court date,” District Clerk Sharon Mathis said. “It is set for arraignment because the attorney has not had this done yet for a reason I do not know.”
