Alfred Ray Molina Sr.

    Alfred Ray Molina Sr., of Edna, passed away peacefully with his wife and family by his side on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at the age of 60.  He was born Feb. 19, 1954, in Edna to the late Antonio and Cecilia Garcia Molina.
    Alfred worked as a diesel mechanic for Alamo Concrete for 41 years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather who will be missed dearly.
    He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Vicky Molina of Victoria; children, Katrina Roberts of California, Angela Yun of Austin, Venita Avila, Alfred Ray Molina Jr. of Victoria; step children, Patricia Pridgen of Midland, Angela Emmott of College Station, Catharine Emmott of Victoria, Yolanda Salinas of Victoria and Manuel Rodriquez of Conroe; sisters, Lydia Martinez, Grace Green, Angie Hernandez, Sheila Molina, DeDe Hinjosa, all of Edna, Rosemary Molina and Toni Garza of Victoria; brothers, Antonio Molina of Wisconsin and Daniel Molina of Ganado; 14 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral Mass will be Friday, Feb. 28 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Agnes Catholic Church of Edna. Rev. Michael Petering will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Edna.
    Pallbearers will be Nicholas Molina, John Schneider, Manuel Rodriguez, Zech Pridgen, Alvin Yun, Lt. Joseph Roberts, Fernandez Cruz and Frank Maciel Torres.
