Cobra buckets

The Cobras played Edna on Friday, Jan. 31, and lost, 51-75.
“Stopping turnovers and getting in their face,” said Evan Gregg of what the team should’ve done differently. “Transition better next time.”
“We need to all be on the same page with what we’re trying to accomplish,” said Jay Rubio. “We are like a family and we all work very well together, we just have to put in a little extra effort and all stay focused on the team goals.”
The Cobras will have played Tidehaven at home on Feb. 4 and will play Goliad on Friday, Feb. 7.
“I thought the team played great defense, it’s just Edna hit almost everything they threw up,” said Brandon Alexander, still injured. “I thought we played better as the game went on, the team kept fighting and competing throughout the game.”
