Students donate canned goods

The Edna Junior High held a canned food drive. Everyone who donated cans has helped the community by helping Helping Hands. Altogether EJH gathered 1,413 cans. There are two winners in the contest because one class used its knowledge of proportions and made sure the school knew about that knowledge as well. Mrs. Koop’s class won for biggest percentage of cans brought per student. Her class averaged 15 food items per student. Coach Ken Ballinger’s class won for most cans brought. His class had a total of 302 cans. Each classroom will be visited during sixth period with party goodies. From left are Robin Etheredge, Kendall Bradley, Kaitlyn Morton and Candace Floyd.
