McCarrell named officer of the year

Jason McCarrell was named Officer of the Year by the Jackson County 100 Club. McCarrell is a deputy for the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. The officer of the year is chosen by his peers. McCarrell has worked for the sheriff’s office since 2006.  According to Sheriff Andy Louderback, McCarrell continues to exhibit all the character traits of a dedicated officer.  “He is a consummate professional,” Louderback said. “ Jason believes, as I do, that law enforcement is about public servitude.  Along with giving extra effort helping our citizens, Jason also displays integrity, character, and  leadership skills.  I am very proud of the job Jason has done for Jackson County Law Enforcement and he is a true asset to this county.” From left are Louderback, McCarrell, and W.H. Bishop, president of the Jackson County 100 Club.
