It is not a good deal if someone gets hurt on the hunt

With the holidays beckoning us, a countless number of shoppers will be filling the aisles in local stores and big box businesses.
Tis the season to push and shove your way to merchandise while the deals are too good to pass up and supplies are limited. With Black Friday just around the corner, please be considerate of others while shopping. You always hear stories of people rushing through the doors at a business and trampling over a few customers in the process.
The customers trampled on are almost always sent to the hospital. They were just like everyone else trying to be the first to get to that big screen television or any other technological device. It was the mean-spirited people behind them that decided to play unfair by knocking them over and stepping on them to get ahead. If those people had a heart they would have considered lending a helping hand and lifting them off the floor.
Christmas is not about the price tags, it’s about helping others and spreading good cheer and joy. It’s not about being first in line, getting your christmas shopping done right away or bragging about what good of a deal you got on merchandise.
It’s not about me or you. It’s being generous, considerate and warmhearted toward others.
Before Black Friday, people should already have it in their minds to be thankful for what they have and not about what they will get or how much they will spend on others.
So the next time you camp out or wait in line for Black Friday, treat others like the way you want them to treat you. If someone falls over, lend them a helping hand. It’s only fun to be the first ones to get to the merchandise when you don’t fight or harm others.
Also keep in mind, store employees are working odd hours and working overtime for you. Don’t be a nuisance to them, do what they tell you to do and be patient. There will be plenty of opportunities to get a good deal throughout the holiday season.
I wish you good luck and happy shopping this holiday season. Just remember, be safe and courteous towards others.
