Art Center hosts Pow Wow

The Texana Center for the Arts will hold a POW WOW on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 2-4 p.m. Steve Brandon, a native American Choctaw Indian, will present a program on the culture and tools of the American Indians. Children can see knives, spears, arrowheads, a large blow gun and other artifacts. There will be a drawing for an antler/arrowhead knife valued at $80. The cost is $10 per child. After the program children will create a dream catcher using natural materials. Light refreshments will be served.
