Local industry has more jobs than workers

Lolita's Inteplast Group, Ltd. just celebrated their 20th anniversary last year with approximately 1,400 employees and are proud of what they do. At Inteplast, cellophane isn't a word, it's BOPP film. BOPP stands for biaxially oriented polypropylene and is used in most food and produce packaging. The workers start out with a large ball of resin and melt it down to stretch it biaxially (horizontally and vertically) and roll it in large tubes for products.
