Hilda E. "Aunt Dorothy" Yendrey of Edna passed away on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013. She was a homemaker, and a loving and wonderful person and will be deeply missed.
Hilda is survived by her two sons Alton Yendrey of Adkins and Oney Yendrey of Sweeny. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Hilda is proceeded in death by her husband Alfred Yendrey; her brothers, Hugo, Albert, and Leo Kulow; and her sisters Elizabeth Kulow, Nora Kulow, Dora Palm, Edna Yendrey, Ela May Wilkerson, and Leona Hilberg.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Aug. 14 at Slavik Funeral Home in Edna. Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. at Slavik Funeral Home with interment following at Memory Gardens in Edna.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of South Texas or to Kingdom Hall- Jehovah’s Witnesses-Edna. S ervices are under the direction of Slavik Funeral Home 209 N. Allen St. Edna, Tx 361-782-2152.
