Church members practice what they preach

A mission project group from the First United Methodist Church in Edna was in Weslaco from June 20-24 to build a home for a family with three children. It is the sixth project that they have completed over a few years, and the first trip that has been fully funded by the church without help from other churches or government grants. Twenty-seven people from the FUMC, youth and adults alike, traveled way down south to make a family’s life better to live.
