New extension agent will begin her duties Aug. 12

Jackson County is getting a new county Extension agent.
Anne Chutz was presented to the Jackson County Commissioners Court at its regular meeting on July 23.
Chutz will serve as the family and consumer services and 4-H agent and will assume her duties on Aug. 12.
She is a graduate of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville with a degree in food science and nutrition and has a long-time association with 4-H.
