Permit approved for new RV park

The Edna City Council approved a specific use permit and zoning change for an RV park at the July 18 regular council meeting.
CLVR Acquisitions, Ltd. will build the RV park on an 8 acre plot of land north of Cottonwood Apartments, which they also own. The company also renovated the Tanglewood Apartments across from Dollar General in Edna, which is now named Applewood Apartments.
Planning and Zoning reviewed the proposed site plans and gave their stamp of approval to the RV park earlier in July.
Construction on the new RV park is expected to begin by early fall.
