JCHD will bid to provide free EMS for ESD 3

 

The Jackson County Hospital District will offer to provide EMS services to residents of Emergency Services District 3 at no charge after directors unanimously approved the recommendation at the June 27 board meeting.
The JCHD currently operates three mobile intensive care unit ambulances in the county with 18 paramedics and EMTs. According to Bill Jones, JCHD administrator and CEO, ESD 3 will soon be considering bids for emergency services for Fiscal Year 2014.
