O’Canas - Tristan pledge vows

 

Jackie Ann O’Canas of Danevang and Ty Jacob Tristan of Ganado exchanged nuptial vows on May 25, 2013 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Ganado. Rev. Michael J. Lyons officiated the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Henry and Hellen O’Canas of Danevang. She is a 2003 graduate of El Campo High School and graduated from Wharton County Junior College with an office administrator certification. She is employed by Key Energy Services in El Campo.
The groom is the son of Michael and Dolores Tristan of Ganado. He is a 2004 graduate of Ganado High School and is employed at Key Energy Services in El Campo.
Wedding music was provided by Alan Vajdos.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Kristy O’Canas of Richmond and Jessica O’Canas, sisters of the bride, served as the maids of honor.
Bridesmaids were Natalie O’Canas of El Campo, cousin of the bride, Vanessa Tristan of Edna, sister of the groom, Leslie Hernandez of Seabrook, Veronica Lopez of El Campo, and Catherine Sless of Louise.
Junior bridesmaids were Kindallyn O’Canas of Danevang, cousin of the bride and Mariah Tristan of Ganado, niece of the groom.
Flower girls were Kylien Gonzales of Danevang, cousin of the bride, and Isabel Tristan, niece of the groom.
Best man was Michael Tristan Jr. of Ganado, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen were Henry O’Canas Jr. of Richmond, brother of the bride, John Manuel Tristan, cousin of the groom, Brandon Morales of Edna, Colby Reynolds of Ganado, Ernest Cisneros of Victoria, Dwayne Hinojosa of Corpus Christi, and Bernard De Los Santos of Ganado.
Junior groomsmen was Kaden Gonzales of Danevang, cousin of the bride.
Ring bearer was Michael Tristan III of Ganado, nephew of the groom.
Performing the ushering duties were Sydney Escamilla of El Campo, cousin of the bride, and Taerikk Perry, cousin of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception, and dance was held at the El Campo Civic Center with DJ Victor Gutierrez providing the music.
Following honeymoon travel to St. George Island, the couple will make their home in El Campo.
