Robinson trial set for Sept. 16

A hearing for Christian Blair Robinson, 21, of Edna was held May 29 at the Jackson County Courthouse. District Judge Jack W. Marr presided over the hearing. Robinson’s trial is set for Sept. 16.
Robinson was arrested on July 29, 2010 and charged with capital murder in the death of his five-month-old, Camden Robinson. According to Edna Police Chief Clinton Wooldridge, the infant was admitted at DeTar North Hospital in Victoria at 9 a.m. on July 14, 2010 with head injuries and other internal injuries, then transferred from DeTar to Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi where he died on July 16.
