Hearing rescheduled for Robinson

A hearing was rescheduled on May 13 for Christian Blair Robinson, 21, of Edna, at the Jackson County Courthouse. He was arrested on July 29, 2010 and charged with capital murder in the death of his five-month-old son, Camden Robinson. According to Edna Police Chief Clinton Wooldridge, the infant was admitted at DeTar North Hospital in Victoria at 9 a.m. on July 14, 2010 with head injuries and other internal injuries, then transferred from DeTar to Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi where he died on July 16. An autopsy was performed by the Nueces County Medical Examiner who determined the cause of death to be abusive head trauma and ruled the death a homicide.
