Election day is Saturday

Early voting for the ESD 3 and Ganado City Council election ended Tuesday. Voters will head to the polls on Saturday to cast their vote.
According to Sharon Martin-Villareal, election clerk for the county clerk’s office, there were 463 early ballots cast in the ESD election. Any registered voter in the Edna ISD is eligible to vote in this election.
The polling location for the ESD election is from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. in the Jackson County Courthouse lobby.
Larry Thompson, city secretary for Ganado, said there were 46 early voters in the city council election.
Voting will take place at the Ganado ISD Media Center on Saturday from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Election results will be available at www.jacksonconews.com and on the Jackson County Herald-Tribune’s Facebook page as soon as they become available after the polls close.
