Crossing the finish line

Carol Rogers of Edna was one of 189 participants in the Run for God 5K held at the Brackenridge Main Event Center on May 4. Runners braved cooler than normal temperatures as the thermometer dipped into the 40’s early Saturday morning. Quintin Kirk of Edna came in first with a winning time of 18:45.9. Carson Price came in second with a time of 19:55.4, followed closely by Nacho Trevino with a time of 19:58.9. Rogers finished with a time of 32:02.8.
