Run, jump, throw! Five headed on to State

    Jackson County track was at Judson in San Antonio April 26-27 for the Region IV 1A and 2A track meets. A finish in the top two was a ticket to run at the Texas State Meet May 10-11 at Mike A. Myers Stadium at UT  Austin. Michael Garcia, Clay Vesely and Ashley Bridges all advance to state for Ganado in 1A. Garcia qualified in both shot put and discus. In 2A competition, Madison Kucera and Kaylynn Grudzieski will represent Edna at state. Industrial’s Bryan Landry tied the second place state-qualifying jump in pole vault, but placed fourth.
