Rope event debuts at BRC

The Rope for the Kids rodeo event made its debut in Jackson County April 27. It was the seventh year for the charity team roping event, benefitting Golden Crescent CASA and was in Jackson County at the Brackenridge Recreation Center for the first time through the efforts of a dedicated group, the Jackson County and Calhoun County Rope for the Kids Advisory Board.
Stephanie Cavazos, LCW, of the advisory board gave a brief explanation of how their group works and how they tie in with CASA.
