Early voting begins April 29

 

Early voting for the May 11 special election will be held Monday, April 29 through Tuesday, May 7. There are two elections in Jackson County that will be held on that day.
The City of Ganado will hold an election for three city council positions. All registered voters in the City of Ganado are eligible to vote in this election. On the ballot are Calvin Callies, Blake Petrash and Robin Bauerle, incumbents, and Carl Russelburg, challenger. Early voting will be held at Ganado City Hall Monday through Friday from 8 - 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 - 4:30 p.m. Extended hours for early voting will be held on May 6 and 7 when city hall will be open from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Election day voting will be held May 11 at the Ganado ISD Media Center from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. 
The election for Emergency Services District 3 will be held at the Jackson County Courthouse. All registered voters in the Edna Independent School District are eligible to vote in this election. Early voting will be in the county clerk’s office during normal business hours, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. On election day, voting will be held in the courthouse lobby.
