Kudos to the library

I have recently moved from Edna to Victoria, although it’s nice to be in a bigger town I really miss the Jackson County Memorial Library.
The staff and library in Victoria is larger, but I miss the friendly staff in Edna. There was never a time that I wasn’t greeted with a smile, graciously given help when needed, and once they realized my favorite genre, given me suggestions on an author they thought I would like to read.
I also enjoyed the audio library that helped my traveling back and forth to Victoria before I retired.
When I looked at the services provided in Victoria I realized they were the very same that Edna provided – videos, computers, story-hour, summer reading programs, guest authors, digital books, eBooks – just to name a few and this is all free.
Thank you Jackson County Memorial Library staff, I miss you! To the community be sure to visit this very special place and participate in National Library Week April 14-20.
