Kelley had eight previous felonies

 

Everett Kelley, 48 of Woodville, who was recently sentenced to life in prison for theft by District Judge Jack W. Marr has eight previous felony convictions and has been in prison six times, according to Jackson County District Attorney Bobby Bell. 
He was sentenced to life on Feb. 28 for stealing a $60,000 RV camper from the city limits of Ganado, Rick Boone, investigator at the Jackson County Sheriff’s office said. Bell said the sentence was based off of the habitual statute law, which applies to those with two or more felony convictions prior to the offense. Boone also said there are two other felony charges pending for possession of a weapon in a correctional facility and for theft of another RV camper.
