Lillian Labay, 80, of El Campo passed away on March 9, 2013. She was born in Ganado on June 5, 1932 to the late John and Emillie Sulak.
She is survived by sons Gary Labay and wife Mindy of El Campo, Bruce Labay and wife Evelyn of El Campo, Wade Labay and wife Pamela of El Campo, Dirk Labay of Louise and Jedd Labay and wife Gena of El Campo; sister Pauline Kubecka of Ganado, 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, son Glenn Labay and brothers Johnny, Leo, and Henry Sulak. Visitation was March 11 at noon at Triska Funeral Home in El Campo. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services were March 12 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Janak officiating. Burial followed at Holy Cross Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Eric Labay, Marc Labay, Jeffrey Labay, Sterling Labay, Colin Labay, and Keith Koudela. Honorary pallbearer was William Glenn Labay.
Memorial donations may be made to the Methodist Child Care Computer Lab.
