"Pride of the Tribe" band getting new uniforms

The Ganado ISD band “Pride of the Tribe” will be stepping out in style in new band uniforms during the next school year.

Band Director Patrick Flaniken brought in band member Chris Glass to model the new uniform and show some of its features off to the Ganado Independent School District Board of Trustees at their Feb. 21 meeting. The front will display a white large slanted letter G on a maroon long sleeve jacket. The marching band hat will have a white shimmery plume and their pants will be black. Flaniken showed trustees what white marching band gauntlets and black pair of gauntlets look like with the marching band uniform. Band members will wear black shoes with their uniforms.
