New party venue coming to Edna

There is a new party place coming to Edna with Edna City Council’s approval of a “bounce house” party venue at the Feb. 21 meeting.
The business will be located in the lot directly across the street from Edna Elementary School and will include a large bounce area, arcade, and eating areas. Rene Zarate of Edna is the owner.
Council also approved a new RV park off of Hwy. 111 and Cordele St. that will contain up to 14 spaces and heard from a resident about cat over-population and problems in the city.
