    Ganado two-time state powerlifting champion Megan Taylor raised the bar Feb. 16 with a personal total score best of 1,210 lbs. at the Industrial Powerlifting Meet in Vanderbilt. The Edna girls team would win their meet with a score of 61 and the Industrial boys took the home team win with a 48. Ganado finished third in girls with 23 points and ninth in boys with 4 points. Edna’s boys team was third with 25 points and the Cobra girls came in sixth with 9. Individual results by class with squat, bench press, dead lift and total scores were as follows:
